Monitor Your Admissions Profile in MyUI

Please continue to monitor your Admissions Profile in MyUI for important communications from the university now that you have been admitted.

Apply for University Housing

You can apply for University Housing online through your Admissions Profile in MyUI shortly after you are admitted. Housing will make assignments based on the order in which applications were received.

Apply for Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded after holistic application review. Student marks/grades and ACT or SAT scores weigh heavily in that selection process. There is not a separate application for the IDEA scholarships. However, some specific UI scholarships do require applications and some are due in December for students applying for admission in the fall of the following year. Begin researching scholarship opportunities early

Make a Reservation to Attend Orientation

International students who have accepted our offer of admission will be scheduled to attend Orientation before classes begin. Attending orientation is required of all new incoming undergraduate students. It is where you will meet with an academic adviser and register for your first semester of classes.

Take Placement Tests

Placement test requirements will vary depending on the type of student (first-year, transfer, international) you are when you enter the university, your major, and any transfer or exam credit you bring into the university. Any required placement tests should be taken at least 2 weeks prior to your orientation session.
