-Students should file their 2021–2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov as soon as possible after October 1, and preferably by December 1, 2020, for the following fall semester. Financial aid applications are reviewed and awarded on a first-come, first-served
basis as files become complete and until funds are no longer available.
-Apply for residence hall housing through your Admissions Profile and pay the non-refundable $75 application fee. Once complete, you have reserved your place in line for community and room selection.
-Receive communication about accessing your financial aid award notification on MyUI. This process continues through July.
-Deadline for students to apply for admission in order to be considered for merit-based scholarships.
-Students can submit their Orientation reservation through their Admissions Profile on MyUI. Students are only invited once they accept our offer of admission and pay the $250 acceptance fee.
-Deadline to submit updated transcript and/or official test scores for

Admissions promptly after graduation.
-If the student is sending test scores, official ACT/SAT scores must be sent from
the testing agency. Iowa’s institutional codes are 1356 for the ACT and
6681 for the SAT.
-Official college transcript, if the student has college credit, must be sent from
