  • Black and Gold Days
    These are daily visit options tailored to fit your schedule and focus on your interests. We suggest you visit when classes are in session—even during the summer—so you can see the residence halls, classes, student life, and academic departments in action.
  • Junior Hawkeye Visit Days
    These special events typically attract more than 700 prospective students and their guests for a first look with a broader overview of the university, featuring a full day of activities led by university staff and student volunteers. These events are intended for sophomores and juniors in high school.
  • Admitted Student Days
    These events typically attract more than 700 high school seniors and their guests for a more in-depth look at campus and information on the next steps to becoming a Hawkeye! Complete with academic breakout sessions and a student life fair with representatives from a number of areas including Housing, Financial Aid, Orientation/First Year Programs, current student organizations and many more!  These events are intended for high school seniors who have applied to the University of Iowa.
  • Explore Engineering at Iowa
    We invite you to spend a Saturday gaining insights into the field of engineering and what makes Iowa's engineering program a great option. You'll tour our engineering research labs, meet faculty members, and interact with current engineering students. Tours of campus and the Seamans Center for the Engineering Arts & Sciences are available; lunch is provided.
