Christina chose to come to the University of Iowa because there was no other atmosphere or environment like it. When Christina stepped onto campus for the first time, she says she has never felt so welcomed by the students, faculty, staff, and community.

One of Christina's favorite experiences during her time so far at Iowa has been the tote board reveal for Dance Marathon 25, when over $3 million was raised to support pediatric cancer patients and their families. In addition to that, during the third annual fundraising push day, “Day to DM" the student leadership team raised over $600,000 in just 26.2 hours!

Christina's advice to prospective students is to not be afraid to fail. Roadblocks will happen and they may happen more often than you would like, but Christina says that the most important thing is to roll with the punches and learn from different situations.
