International Student Visit Day is designed for students who are interested in learning more about the international student experience at the University of Iowa.

During International Student Visit Day, university staff and student volunteers will guide you and other visitors through a full day (8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.) of activities.

Activities

  • An Iowa Overview session, including information about admission, housing, and student life.
  • Q&A session with current international students
  • Campus bus or walking tours available, before, during, and at the end of the event
  • Residence hall tour and lunch
  • Exploring Majors Fair, including representatives from more than 65 academic programs and student service departments
  • Academic area/college sessions and tours
  • International Student and Scholar Services - Pre-Arrival through Employment Authorization
