Important Campus Visit Update: Currently, the University of Iowa is open to visitors for limited capacity campus visits by reservation only. In accordance with recommendations by the State of Iowa and the Iowa Board of Regents to prevent the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Office of Admissions has suspended all other on-campus visits, tours, and information sessions indefinitely. View updates and additional information about Novel Coronavirus and admissions visit events.

We are disappointed that we are unable to welcome our future Hawkeyes with our normal selection of visits and events. However, the health and safety of all of our students, faculty, staff, and guests is our number one priority and we are taking proactive measures to ensure the wellbeing of our community. Our office is ready and excited to support future students with additional online opportunities. As the situation changes, we will continue to post available in-person and virtual events below.

Summer Daily Visits

We are excited to offer summer daily visits for students interested in the University of Iowa. Visits include: Iowa Overiew, residence hall tours, lunch, campus tours, and other optional sessions. These events will be socially distanced, designed to maintain the safety and well-being of students, guests, and staff. Visits will be limited in size, and all visitors will need to agree to guidelines, which include wearing masks or face coverings, social distancing, and other requirements.
