The University of Iowa welcomes more than 5,000 new undergraduate students to campus each year from high schools and colleges around the world.
Applicants still in high school (including students who are taking college courses while still in high school)
Applicants who have attended another college or university
Applicants who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents
Applicants who previously attended the University of Iowa and who would like to resume their studies
Applicants who want to take a course or courses but are not currently seeking admission to a degree program (e.g. high school students, visiting college students, study abroad students, continuing education students)
Applicants who plan to take only Continuing Education courses (Online, GIS, On-Campus, Off-Campus), but are not seeking admission to a degree program

The University of Iowa offers a variety of summer camps and pre-college programs for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
