Submit your application.
Apply through the University of Iowa application.
Application deadlines vary by program. Please select your intended college below for more information.
If you are an international transfer student, please review the additional application requirements.
Pay the application fee.
The $55 application fee is non-refundable (fee waiver available).
Provide your academic records.
Have official transcripts sent from every college and university you have attended. Transcripts must be mailed from the issuing institution to the address below, or sent electronically via email.
If you are transferring fewer than 24 semester hours:
Have your test scores sent from the testing agency.
The University of Iowa institution code is 1356 for the ACT; 6681 for the SAT.
Have your high school send us your final official transcript.
