The Applied Climate Science and Energy Technologies (ACSET) Certificate program is designed to empower students to address the challenges posed by climate change and the imperative for sustainable energy solutions.

Emphasizing both the fundamentals of climate science and practical aspects of engineering, our program offers students a rich educational experience. It features a selection of courses in atmospheric sciences and energy technologies as core requirements, while affording students the flexibility to tailor their learning experience with elective courses aligned with their specific interests and career aspirations.

Our program offers elective courses from departments within the College of Engineering, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Public Health, and Tippie College of Business. This collaborative approach provides students with the opportunity to receive a holistic education and skill set related to climate change and energy technologies.
