Environmental Policy and Planning Transfer Tips
Students can earn a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Policy and Planning from the School of Earth, Environment, and Sustainability.
Complete the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences General Education Requirements. Transfer students with an AA degree from an Iowa or Illinois community college will enter the university having fulfilled all of the General Education CORE Program requirements (except World Language and Understanding Cultural Perspectives) in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Complete the world language requirement as needed for Iowa's General Education Program through one of the following three pathways:
- Fourth Level of a single world language
- Third Level Plus a World Language and Cultural Exploration Course
- Second Level of Two Languages
Students should complete the following equivalent courses, if available, before transferring
- SEES:1080 Introduction to Environmental Science or SEES:1085 Fundamentals of Environmental Science
- STAT:1020 Elementary Statistics and Inference or STAT:1030 Statistics for Business
- ECON:1100 Principles of Microeconomics
