My favorite thing about working in Admissions is connecting with and watching students get excited about Iowa and their interested area of study. I love being a part of a student’s college search process as they decide where the best school is for them.

Iowa City “Must Do and Must See” Locations

When in Iowa City you must go to Nodo and get their chicken artichoke sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. A must-visit is also Prairie Lights Books & Café located next door. It is a sweet hidden gem for finding your next book with a great coffee shop inside.

What makes Iowa such a great place?

I love how easily accessible the Iowa City community is for Iowa students. By walking across the street, students have access to so many local restaurants and coffee shops, the Iowa City Farmers Market, and even park spaces to enjoy such as Hickory Hill Park.
