Inside Iowa Music is an interactive live online program for students who have been admitted to the UI School of Music.

We pride ourselves on our small, supportive community and close-knit relationships and want you to be able to get started making these connections. 

Students and families will be able to ask questions and connect with their instructors, teachers, and other students in the studios they’ll be joining.  Additionally, the School of Music Director, Dr. Tammie Walker, will personally welcome you and be available to talk and answer your questions.

Faculty from these areas will be available during the program: Theory/Composition, Musicology (Music History), Music Therapy, Music Education, Brass, Percussion, Piano, Organ, Voice, Jazz Studies, Woodwinds, Strings, Large Ensembles, and Chamber Music
