I get to be in a new place, meeting new people just about every day! I also love that I get to watch students' eyes light up when I tell them about everything that Iowa has to offer.

Iowa City “Must Do and Must See” Locations

A long walk or run on the Iowa River Corridor trails is a great way to explore the community. The trails run right through the heart of campus and downtown Iowa City, so I love to finish up my run with a cup of coffee at Poindexter or lunch at Oasis.

What makes Iowa such a great place?

Iowa is such a great home for many students because of how many resources it can offer in relation to its relatively small size. Hawkeyes are able to live and learn in a collaborative, warm environment while still engaging in cutting-edge, hands-on research!
