The University of Iowa is involved an initiative geared towards increasing college access for small-town and rural students. In collaboration with fifteen other colleges and universities, the University of Iowa is part of the Small Town and Rural Students College Network (STARS College Network) which is a consortium of colleges and universities nationwide that have made the commitment to provide education, access, and college preparation resources to small-town and rural students who have historically faced challenges accessing higher education opportunities.
This initiative has the potential to greatly impact rural Iowa and change college-going rates for many rural and small-town students in our state. We invite you to watch our information session below for more information.
