During Junior Hawkeye Visit Days, university staff and student volunteers will guide you through a full day of activities arranged for you and several hundred other visitors.
Junior Hawkeye Visit Days are designed for students who are juniors in high school and younger who are interested in learning more about the University of Iowa.
During Junior Hawkeye Visit Days, university staff and student volunteers will guide you and several hundred visitors through a full day (8 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) of activities.
Activities
- An Iowa Overview session, including information about admission, housing, financial aid and student life.
- Q&A session with current students
- Campus bus tours are available before, during, and at the end of the event
- Campus walking tours including our residence hall show room, available before, during and at the end of the event
- Lunch (complimentary) and see common spaces of a residence hall
- Exploring Majors Fair, including representatives from more than 65 academic programs and student service departments
- Academic area/college sessions and tours

To provide the best experience for all our guests, we ask that school-affiliated groups, regardless of size, book a dedicated group visit instead of registering for Hawkeye Visit Day. This ensures a more tailored visit for your students.
