The Pharmacy Sciences program equips you with a strong foundation in the pharmaceutical industry, research, biotechnology, drug manufacturing, and drug development. These skills will prepare you for a wide range of careers in a high-growth field. This can also be the foundation for a graduate degree, like a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for Direct Admission to the Pharmacy Sciences program as a first-year student, you must:
- Present an ACT composite score of 26 or higher (SAT: 1230).
- Present a cumulative high school GPA of 3.60 or higher (can be weighted or unweighted).
Students who are not admitted directly into the College of Pharmacy will be admitted to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences as a Pharmacy Sciences Interest major and may apply to the College of Pharmacy after completing prerequisite coursework.

Scholarships

Coursework
You can tailor your education to your own interests by choosing between two tracks: business and regulatory affairs. In both tracks, you'll build a core foundation in biology, chemistry, anatomy, and physiology. Both tracks provide an in-depth understanding of the science behind pharmaceuticals and the development, uses, and marketing dynamics of pharmaceutical projects.
