• Accept our offer of admission

  Pay our $325 acceptance fee as soon as possible. The deadline to accept admission and pay the acceptance fee is May 1 for Summer Session or Fall Semester (November 15 for Spring Semester).
  
  The fee must be paid before you can make Orientation reservations through your Admissions Profile in MyUI.
  
  The acceptance fee is refundable prior to May 1 for summer and fall semester applicants (November 15 for Spring Semester applicants).

• Monitor Your Admissions Profile in MyUI

  Please continue to monitor your Admissions Profile on the Iowa Student Information Service for important communications from the university now that you have been admitted.

• Apply for University Housing

  Now that you've been admitted, you can apply for University Housing online through your Admissions Profile on MyUI (myui.uiowa.edu), be sure to consider the Living Learning Community options for transfer students, too!

• Apply for Financial Aid & Scholarships

  Begin researching financial aid and scholarship opportunities early. Some UI scholarship applications are due in December for students applying for admission in the fall of the following year.

• Once admitted, file your FAFSA on the web as soon as possible once available in December for the following fall semester. Priority consideration for need-based scholarships and grants awarded by the UI Office of Student Financial Aid will be given to students whose FAFSA record is received by the University of Iowa on or before February 1.

• Make a Reservation to Attend Orientation Programs

  Submit your Orientation Program reservation through your Admissions Profile on MyUI. You get invited only if you accept our offer of admission by paying the $325 acceptance fee.
