Coursework

In the Entrepreneurship major, students can choose from two-semester tracks that immerse you in specific entrepreneurial worlds. These tracks include:

  • Entrepreneurial Leadership - Focus on leadership and entrepreneurship in a corporate or existing organization.
  • Technology Entrepreneurship - Dive deep into the development and assessment of new technology applications.
  • Entrepreneurial Finance - Apply financial modeling and venture assessment to early-stage companies seeking equity capital investments.
  • New Ventures - Gain the critical skills necessary to launch successful entrepreneurial ventures.

Other business coursework includes introductory classes in accounting, business computing essentials, economics, calculus, and statistics.

In addition to required coursework for the Entrepreneurship major, students will be required to complete the college's General Education Requirements.

Tippie RISE

All Tippie College of Business students must successfully complete at least one experiential learning in the form of Research, Internship, Study Abroad, or an Experiential course (RISE). By completing at least one Tippie RISE experience as part of the undergraduate degree, students will bridge the classroom with the real world and gain a competitive edge in the job market and in admission to graduate school.
