  • Black and Gold Days
These are daily visit options tailored to fit your schedule and focus on your interests. We suggest you visit when classes are in session—even during the summer—so you can see the residence halls, classes, student life, and academic departments in action.
  • Iowa Friday Night Live
Offered on select dates in July. Iowa Friday Night Live is for soon-to-be high school seniors and their families who will be entering college in Fall 2018. Start your weekend on our beautiful campus, and see why Iowa City is consistently ranked one of the best locations to live, work, study and play.
  • Hawkeye Visit Days
These special events typically attract more than 700 prospective students and parents for a first look with a broader overview of the university, featuring a full day of activities led by university staff and student volunteers.
  • Explore Engineering at Iowa
We invite you to spend a Saturday gaining insights into the field of engineering and what makes Iowa's engineering program a great option. You'll tour our engineering research labs, meet faculty members, and interact with current engineering students.
