Kate chose the University of Iowa because she loved how it feels like a big school without having to walk 45 minutes to every class. She really liked the connection we have with downtown Iowa City and the school spirit that everyone in town exudes.

Being fully immersed in the Hawkeye spirit has had an incredible impact on Kate's time at Iowa. Her most memorable experience was her first Hawkeye football game, which included the infamous Iowa Wave.

Some advice Kate would give to incoming/prospective students would be to join as many clubs that interest you because it is a great way to meet people!
