"I always knew I wanted to go to a big school, and when I came to Iowa, I fell in love with the campus. I looked into Iowa because of its amazing programs, but I had no idea I would be obsessed with it after my first visit. I really enjoy how Iowa City is right across the street from campus, and it is a smaller city with so much to offer!"
Ellie really loves how the University of Iowa has so many resources for students. This includes academic, career, health, and social resources. It really made a difference in her education and how she's spending her time at Iowa. "There are always people to support students with all kinds of needs, and it really makes you feel supported."
Her most memorable experience at Iowa has been meeting and becoming best friends with her freshman year roommates. She had to come to Iowa with random roommates, and was scared about living in a triple with 2 girls she didn't know at all. It turned out to be the best experience ever, and "they still are my best friends to this day!"
