Lauren got an email for a free sticker and eventually ended up visiting campus on her own. It was during the height of Covid so, the campus was very dead and it really felt like it was just her and Iowa City. "I fell in love the second I stepped foot on the Pentacrest."

One of her most memorable experiences at Iowa was at the concert after the kick-off at Kinnick. "The DJ was from the Bachelor and he handed me a rose!!! I have it framed now."

"Go with your gut," Lauren advises. If something doesn't feel right trust that instinct and follow it. And if you get where you thought you wanted to be and those feelings change, that's okay too, as long as it's true to you.
