"What I like the most about Iowa is that there's always something going on. Whether it involves student orgs or events on the Pentacrest. There's always an opportunity to do something on campus."
Elizabeth chose the University of Iowa because it immediately felt like home. She was drawn to the size of the campus, which wasn’t too big or too small, and the welcoming community sealed the deal for her. In particular, the Tippie College of Business stood out for its sense of belonging and close-knit community, which made her decision even easier.
Elizabeth has a strong interest in studying consumer behavior, and her favorite class so far has been Microeconomics.
She is a member of Women in Business, which has provided her with valuable insights into the business world. Being a tour guide is also important to her, as it helps her improve her public speaking skills while sharing her love for Iowa with prospective students.
Her most memorable experience as a student has been participating in "the wave" at every football game, a tradition she treasures. Elizabeth also highlights study abroad opportunities as something that sets Iowa apart.
Her advice: "Don’t take your time at Iowa for granted. Being part of this community is a one-of-a-kind experience that not everyone gets to have."
