Bridget chose the University of Iowa because "it has the number one college of education in the state, and I loved the community the Honors Program offered!"

She participates in Dance Marathon every year, and she loves having the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of families at the University of Iowa Hospital.

As part of her study abroad in Spain over the summer, she hiked the Camino de Santiago. "It was one of the coolest things I have ever done, and I got to do it because I was studying Spanish at Iowa."

Her advice to incoming students would be to get to know the people who sit next to you in class! You might meet your best friend.
