Iowa checked all of Caroline's boxes: perfect size, perfect distance from school, and tons of opportunities available to students. She loves the community of friends she's developed in her time at Iowa.
She's involved with Tri Delta, Beta Alpha Psi, Story Lab, and Financial Management Association; they're all equally important to her because they have either helped her grow a network of friends, enhanced her professional development, and or are a way for her to give back to those in need.
One of her most memorable experiences was getting to watch the women's basketball team in the final four of March Madness during her freshman year with all of her friends.
Her advice to incoming students: Get involved early on. It'll help you meet a ton of people, and it is definitely less intimidating to get involved early on than it is later down the road... plus, if you get involved early on, it could help you in gaining leadership experience.
