Kailey has always wanted to be a teacher and has loved every STEM class she’s taken. She is in love with chemistry and wants to help more students enjoy their chemistry classes.

The people here want her to succeed and have a great time which she’s so grateful to show to prospective students.

She’s involved in the Honors Program as well as a member of the Presidential Scholars Program, the sorority Alpha Chi Omega, and the Dance Club. Honors helps her push herself to the best of her potential, being Alpha Chi has given her more leadership opportunities than anything else in her life, and she even serves as chapter president now.

The most memorable experience was getting to attend the presidential brunch with President Wilson, who spoke and got to know each of them there.

She has loved being able to be pushed with her scientific abilities and she’s found she really loves explaining concepts to her peers when studying.

Kailey advises prospective students to "be yourself and trust your gut when picking your school and major. College is a time when you get to experiment with who you truly are and how to become the vision you have for yourself!"
