MacK chose the University of Iowa because of its close-knit community. She immediately felt welcomed. When she first visited the campus back in high school, every person she met treated her like she was already a part of the Hawkeye family, and it warmed her heart. "I still to this day have never met another community like this one, and Iowa quickly became my home away from home."

Her time as a Hawkeye is spent with the Sigma chapter of Alpha Chi Omega, Dance Marathon, and being a Campus Tour Guide. All of these opportunities to her have had a lasting impact on her college experience.

MacK's best advice to incoming students is to not take anything for granted! College will fly by and the best way to make your time at Iowa the best it can be is to get out there and try new things.
