What set the University of Iowa apart from other schools that Lauren visited, was the school pride that seemed to encompass everyone on campus. Lauren also loved how integrated the campus was with downtown Iowa City!

From Dance Marathon and Salt Company to Habitat for Humanity, Lauren has had no shortage of student organizations to be a part of at Iowa. Lauren loves all of these organizations because of the focus they have on giving back to those in her community and has brought her to some of her closest friendships. 

Lauren's best piece of advice to incoming or prospective students is to go where you see yourself growing. Although college is scary to think about and deciding where to go is even more challenging, try to think about the incredible experiences that lie ahead.
