Neel enjoys networking with students and actively participates in various student organizations. He has been involved in Debate Club, STAR, French Club, and intramural sports. These activities are important to him because they provide a way to de-stress from academics and help prevent burnout.

One of his most memorable experiences at Iowa was when his friends surprised him for his birthday. Even though he had only known them for about three months, they organized a surprise party and showered him with gifts, making it an unforgettable moment.

The most surprising experience related to his major was attending an election watch party. Seeing the process unfold in real time taught him valuable lessons about its complexity and rigor.

For incoming students, Neel’s main advice is to trust their instincts. He once faced uncertainty about choosing the University of Iowa, but after trusting the process, he has no regrets about making this life-changing decision.
