Fascha chose the University of Iowa because of the several opportunities for students to explore and experience professionally and the support provided including many services for students, especially for international students.

Her most memorable experience as a student so far has been Orientation week, as it gave her the opportunity to find more friends.

Fascha is involved in several leadership roles and organizations. She is a student lead at the International Student Support and Engagement (ISSE) under MISSE, a social media director at the Data Science Organization (DSO), a communication director at the International Student Advisory Board (ISAB), a mentor on the iPeer Mentorship Program, a liaison at the University Counseling Service Student Advisory Board (UCS SAB), and a member on the University of Iowa Pentacrest Museums Student Advisory Board (UIPM SAB).

She considers all these organizations very important to her because they give her opportunities to help people and give her many valuable life lessons.

Fascha is an International Ambassador for the University of Iowa Office of Admissions. If you’re a prospective international student who has any questions about life at Iowa, please feel free to reach out to her via email at niputufaschanabilaputri-aryasa@uiowa.edu.
