Zoey decided to pursue math education because she wants to make a positive impact on the lives of the students she will teach.

She chose the University of Iowa because of the campus. Having the mix of downtown Iowa City and the school has been great while being here. Zoey loves being able to go out to dinner or get a cupcake with friends, all within walking distance of our school.

Zoey has been teaching group fitness classes at the CRWC for 3 years now and absolutely loves doing it. She is certified to teach Werq and Barre classes, and says that both are so much fun! Zoey has had season tickets to football games every year since freshman year and has always had the best time going to games.

Zoey's advice to incoming students is that "you should try as much as you can. Even if you only go to something once and don't go back, or maybe it wasn't as fun as you had thought it would be, it is still an experience that you will say you had and could end up being something that you never forget."
